This year's Winter Blast of Blues audience may have been witness to one of the early performances of a future blues legend. Daniel "Slick" Ballinger put on a show that rocked the Baxter County Fairgrounds Exhibition Building with musical energy and showed he is, indeed, the real deal when it comes to playing the blues. UTR eStore Additions
Welcome everyone! It's a new year and many new items are being added to the UTR shop.
Highlights include the incredible book Black White and Blues from photographer Marc Norberg. This beautiful book is a must have for all music lovers.
Also, the limited edition lithograph Family Tree of the Blues is back in stock. Artist Bruce Burton created this one page history of the blues, based on the Handy Awards, and only printed 2000 - all signed and numbered by the artist. Another must have for the blues afficionado.
We've moving into the New Year with fingers crossed and hopes high. Hope you've made your resolutions or are at least thinking about possibly considering musing on selecting some major lifestyle changes.
Anyhow - the new record is still in the production phase, we're planning another trip to the studio soon to finish 'er up.

I have some fun treats for you. First off, this Tuesday January 3rd at Gluek’s in downtown Minneapolis, the band will be playing and I am giddy to report we have some very special guests on board for the evening. Adam Levy and Noah Levy along with Peter J. Sands of the Honeydogs fame are going to be joining me on stage for a few tunes.
